The Alrewas Show carnival is a wonderful way of joining in with the festivities! Whether you decide to enter the float competition - or simply support the carnival as it processes down Main Street, Fox Lane and Daisy Lane on it's way to the Show ground.
In May each year the Alrewas Show council volunteers (in association with Alrewas All Saints Primary School) run a disco and competition to choose the year's Show Prince and Princess and four Attendants who also join the carnival parade and have the responsibility of awarding the prize to the best carnival float.
Show volunteers also parade alongside the carnival collecting donations towards the prize fund.
The carnival floats enter the show ground main ring, where they are judged and the prizes are awarded. It's a great fun event and is enjoyed by children of all ages!
Our carnival volunteers carry charity buckets with them alongside the procession. Please give generously as the money raised goes directly towards the next Alrewas Show.
