How often is the Alrewas Show on for and how long does it last?
The Alrewas Show is an annual event every July and is for one day only - so make a note of the date for some great family fun and entertainment!
Can I bring my dog to the Alrewas Show?
Absolutley! Dogs are most welcome, but are not allowed in the food hall tent and must be kept on a lead at all times. Why not enter your dog into our fun dog show?
What facilities are at the Show?
There are ample toilets, including disabled toilets, a first aid tent, and plenty of food and drink available. There are places to sit around the main ring, and if you're a member you can take advantage of the extra ringside seating outside the members tent - where refreshments are also served. (Find out more about membership here) Unfortunatley, there are no baby feeding or changing facilities on the Showfield.
What about wheelchair or buggy access?
The Alrewas Showfield is used as a sheep field during the rest of the year and hence doesn't have any hard-standing areas. The ground is mostly level, and we do mow the grass before each Show to make the ground as accessible as we can. However the surface of the field fully depends on the weather in the preceeding days before the Show and can vary. Wheelchair users are advised to view the Showfield from Daisy Lane, Alrewas beforehand to decide whether it is suitable for you. We would reccomend that all-terrain buggies would be an advantage for those with small children and babies.
Can I book my Alrewas Show tickets in advance?
Show programmes can only be bought on the day from the entrance gates to the Showfield.
How do I give feedback about the Alrewas Show?
We welcome any feedback you have about the Show - good and bad - as it allows us to ensure future Show's run as smoothly as possible and are as entertaining as possible. Please use our Facebook page to send us your feedback.
What if the weather is bad on Show day?
In the weeks preceeding the Alrewas Show, we keep a close eye on the weather and the condition of the Showfield to ensure it's fit for use. Only twice have we had to cancel the Alrewas Show due to adverse weather conditions - the most recent of which was when we endured the floods of 2007.
What's new at the Show that I haven't seen before?
Each year, we refine the Alrewas Show to keep it up to date and relevant for all our visitors. We value your feedback in helping us to choose great events that will entertain and amaze the whole family. Check our events page for the latest events planned for the next Alrewas Show.
