For the 2009 Alrewas Show... (new classes coming soon!)

Children's show entries are divided into 3 groups . Within each age division are
3 or 4 classes. Each child can enter as many classes as they want in their age
group. Entries are a combination of materials and skills, including collages,
using paper, card, plant parts etc. Making models from junk and painting/ drawing
pictures. There is no charge for entering into the children's classes. Entries are
taken to the show field on show day before judging begins. Rosettes are awarded
for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for each class and can be collected after 11am and worn
around the show ground if wished. Entries and certificates should be collected
after 4:30pm.

Children under 7
CH1: Make a picture of a canal boat using coloured paper
CH2: Make a Mr or Mrs potato head
CH3: Decorate and egg box

Children aged 7 to 9
CH4: Make a face mask
CH5: Make a castle out of junk
CH6: Make a picture of your favourite book
CH7: Make an animal using vegetables

Children aged 9 to 12
CH8: Create a collage of your favourite hero or heroine
CH9: Make a model of a monster from junk
CH10: Paint a picture of a scene out of your favourite book
CH11: Create a miniature garden on a seed
