Alrewas Show 2021

It is with a heavy heart the Alrewas Agricultural & Horticultural Society announce the cancellation of the 2021 Alrewas Show due to the delay in lifting of lockdown restrictions to the 19th July 2021.

Following a detailed review of our options, including but not limited to the current Government guidelines and suitable alternative dates, we feel the Show cannot go ahead in its usual format this year.

We strive to provide a fun, enjoyable family day out and rely heavily on the public, exhibitors and all who contribute to the Show to make it one of the most varied family days out in the Midlands. This morning we begin working on next year’s show to be held on Saturday 16th July 2022. This will be our 140th show (much delayed from 2020) and so we hope that you will join us in making it one of the best days possible.

We will begin contacting our Members and exhibitors directly over the coming days and each and every one of our supporters will be offered the option of a full refund or carrying over their payment to next year’s show. Anyone wishing to donate their subscription to the charity (reg. 1178661) will also be able to do so.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and we wish everyone our best wishes and good health in the coming year.

We look forward to seeing you in 2022.

Membership

The benefits of Alrewas Show membership:

The Alrewas Show is one of the oldest country shows still running and is a vital part of the heritage of our community. Subscriptions and donations from members help to secure the future of the Society.

Membership includes entry for 1 Member, 1 Guest, and up to 2 children

Entry into the show is just one benefit of becoming a member:

  • Forward area car parking
  • Priority entry – no queuing to enter the showground
  • Access to Members Marquee:
    • Inside seating with views over both show rings, and outside seating enclosures
    • Ring side views of the Main Ring and Ring Two
    • Fully Licensed Members Bar
    • Buffet Lunch menu, snacks and refreshments (charges apply).

About 3 weeks prior to Show Day Show members receive special entry badges which provide admission for 2 adults and up to 2 children to the Show Ground and the Members Marquee and Enclosure alongside the Main Show Ring.

The Members Enclosure has two outside seating areas where members and their guests can enjoy the attractions in the two show rings.

How much does Membership cost?

There are 2 types of membership:
Member: £20.00 per year
Vice President: £30.00 per year

Vice Presidents were originally past Presidents of the Society. However, a number of members requested to contribute more to the Society and as a result the Show council have opened up the Vice President Membership to all.

How do I apply for Membership?

You just need to complete a membership form and return it to us. You can enclose payment with the form or pay online using the link in the section below.
