Children and Students Arts

Children/students may enter as many classes as they want in their age group. Artwork may be created especially for the competition or something created during the year at home or school. Entries can be a combination of materials and skills.

Be inventive and creative! And remember - we also have Infant and Junior Classes in Floral Art.

There is no charge for entering into the Children and Student Classes.
Work needs to be delivered to the competition tent by 10am on show day.

Rosettes and prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each class; rosettes may be collected after 11am and worn around the show ground if wished.

Neil Davies Young Artist Award will be presented to the young artist showing the most promise.

The Dain’s Best in Show Trophy will be awarded for the judges favourite piece of work.

Please note that entering a class does not give free entry to the show. Exhibitors' passes are issued to gain entry to the ground before and after the show to deliver & collect entries
